EXTERNAL TEAM & CLAIRE
Claire began working in the design industry in 2000 and started off with a bang scoring a job with a top branding studio in Brisbane. Over the next 7 or so years she worked as a graphic designer in design studios, print houses, brand strategy studios and advertising agencies. Some of the work was in Brisbane, some in London and in both locations Claire worked both permanent and as a freelancer. She was stealth (like a ninja) – fitting into any team easily and developing positive change within each creative workplace by sharing her skills and experience openly.
In 2007, Claire returned from London and decided to use those skills and enthusiasm to start a business that lived and breathed the values that she had set for herself creatively and personally. Hamilton Creative was that business and it thrived. Late 2011 saw another change for the business and that was a complete rebrand as Hamilton Creative had since grown up and changed but the brand and name didn't mirror those changes.
So just as Claire would passionately suggest to her clients if a rebrand was necessary, she went through her own process and developed the renaming and rebranding of Hamilton Creative, transforming it into the company you see here, Filter.
Since then, Claire has pushed the business much further and not only widened the network of peer business support and talent, but also entered our work into various Industry Awards Shows and in 2014 alone, has taken home five Awards/Trophies as well as the Progressive Trophy at the Printing Industries Craftsmanship Awards for her "exemplary promise as a future leader in the print and communications sector. The requirements of this award was to display an innovation in thinking, creative use of technology, favouring or promoting progress in a particular field or environment within our industry."

Belinda is one of those crazy brave souls who has jumped over to the dark side to complete her career change to work in design and branding. After working both in administration managerial and executive assistant roles since 2000, Belinda has taken her meticulous organisational skills and combined them with her passion for being creative. Recently graduating from Design College Australia (DCA), Belinda brings the most up to date training and techniques to the team. Belinda also brings with her, a rather hefty Silver trophy from the recent Brisbane Advertising and Design awards for her student entry – Moby Dick book cover with hand-crafted typography.
Along with her own trophy, Belinda contributed to a couple of Filter's projects and helped us win a few trophies of our own.
Belinda joined Filter as an Intern in February 2014 while she was still studying at DCA but it quickly became apparent that Claire and Belinda made a great team and so she is now a permanent member of the Filter team.
Apart from Belinda's fresh passion for her new career, she is also a loving, caring and dedicated mum. Which means she's a juggler, problem solver and the most patient of super heroes.
